Yost Lake, Saskatchewan, Canada
The lake was named after Glenn Yost on September 2, 1951 as part of the project begun in 1947 by the Saskatchewan Geographic Names Board and completed by Information Services Corporation of Saskatchewan in 2003.
The lake measures about 3.2km long and 1.9km wide.
Yost Lake (55°34’05.4″N 106°38’02.8″W) is a 261km drive northeast of the city of Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan. The lake is located quite close (185km) to Dorintosh, Saskatchewan where his parents lived and he was raised.
