The number and types of resources which the University of Calgary makes available on this site is immense. The resources which we have found most valuable are in the collection Local Histories which is then broken down by region or Province. As of June 2024 the site shows a total of 5880 searchable books in this collection – there are 523 from the province of Saskatchewan.

The University previously had a website for digitized local history collections called ourroots.ca but they pulled that in to be part of their greater library research site in 2018.
